Grace Robertson (1930-2021) MOTHER'S DAY OFF, 1954. A group of silver gelatin prints (4), one vintage and three printed later, from Robertson's iconic series Mother's Day Off. Vintage print measuring 20.3 x 29.5cm, signed by the photographer in pencil with her Homefield House stamp; three printed later images overall measuring 30.5 x 40.5cm (or the reverse), each signed by the photographer in ink recto, each stamped with the photographer's copyright stamp verso, two initialed by the photographer in pencil verso, one with a typewritten label affixed to verso.

The present print is a close-crop of a view Robertson took for a July 1952 Picture Post report titled 'Old Girls Meet Again'. Eleven old school friends from Westcliff School in Weston-super-Mare attend a reunion five years later in London, 1952. Published 12 July 1952.
