Ida Butterworth Art for Sale at Auction

Ida Butterworth, has been a traditional oil painter since l966. She paints a wide variety of subjects including seascapes, landscapes, still lifes, cityscapes as well as portraits of people, animals and houses. According to Butterworth, "I likes to capture Gods' creations as close to reality as possible. My favorite subjects are sunsets and sunrises. I seek to capture the fleeting glory of these passing scenes, because they are never the same. Every sunset is different." Her favorite sunsets are found in Hawaii, and not surprisingly, Butterworth's miniature paintings were accepted into two galleries in Maui, Hawaii.
