Typewritten manuscript with handwritten corrections and signature Los Angeles, USA, December 16th 1976 Charles Bukowski (1920-1994) - American poet and writer Signed and dated 'Charles Bukowski 16-12-76' Manuscript 'poet and poetess...' Dimensions, framed: 90.4 x 39.8 cm Sheet size: 28 x 21.5 cm Fine condition This manuscript by American poet and writer Charles Bukowski is titled 'poet and poetess...'. It is dated to December 16th 1976. Bukowski wrote corrections with felt pen and Tipp-Ex into the typewritten text and signed it. This sheet was written in Los Angeles, USA. These lines probably are a short scene or poem with an emotional dialog. In these few lines one can identify Bukowski's writing style with its rough and direct language. In addition, the text refers to one of his favorite settings, the racetrack. The text is signed and dated 'Charles Bukowski 16-12-76'. The sheet measures 28 x 21.5 cm. Its total dimensions with frame are 90.4 x 39.8 cm. It is in fine condition with slight signs of wear like creasings. Charles Bukowski (1920-1994) The American writer and poet Charles Bukowski was born in Germany. He went to the United States when he was about three years old. His childhood and youth were both affected by its family's poverty, his alcohol addiced father and his problems during puberty. After that he began to write, mostly about people from the outskirts of society. Most of his partly autobiographical works impress with a hard, direct language.
