At the lower area of the image, a young man reaches in an affectionate way towards the face of his beloved. Above an angular placed tree trunk is the same couple visible, over decades older. Also here, the man reaches with one hand towards his now aged love. In 2007 was a Karlheinz Brust Foundation founded in Kirn, the birth town of the artist. The etching is in very good condition.
