    Profile view and full body view of Ramses II mummy; Head view and full body view of Seti I mummy, father of Ramses II, as well as images of art works in the Ghiseh museum by J.P. Sebah. Circa 1881. 10 albumen prints mounted on both sides of album board. Each circa 27 x 21 cm. Most with photographer's name and number in the negative. Assistant to the Egyptologist Auguste Mariette, Émile Brugsch became the assistant curator of the Boulaq Museum under Mariette and the Cairo Museum under Maspèro. He discovered the mummy of Ramses II at Deir-el-Bahari and was an amateur photographer who specialized in reproducing objects of the museum and mummified remains. – Mummy images slightly faded, profile view of Ramses II with spot in upper left, otherwise in very good condition.
