Jim Belushi Stage Worn "Blues Brothers" Dobbs Hat W/Pin

        Est: -

Jim Belushi Stage Worn "Blues Brothers" Dobbs Game Bird Dress Hat W/Pin (Comes W/COA, Letter of Provenance and Promotional Flyer) - This Dobbs Game Bird black felt dress hat was stage worn by Jim Belushi. Belushi joined Dan Aykroyd as one half of the iconic Blues Brothers as "Zee Blues," after the passing of his older brother the original Blues Brother, John Belushi. The hat comes with a certificate of authenticity from Star Wares, and a letter of provenance from the seller. According to the letter of provenance, "The hat was originally acquired from Star Wares on Main. Star Wares handled Jim Belushi's Celebrity items exclusively at the time of purchase. I later briefly met Jim when he performed with the Blues Brothers at the Atlantic City House of Blues. I had the hat with me and he pointed out that it was the exact hat seen in the promotional materials and on the CD cover as worn at the Chicago HOB performance. The pin on the hat is also one of the pins seen in the promotional materials." The hat has a Houston DEA Field Division pin pinned to the side. The lot also includes a promotional flyer for a Saturday, April 20 performance of the Blues Brothers at the Aladdin Resort Casino which pictures Belushi appearing to wear this hat.
