Ships are the artist's overall specialty. He called his most famous series 'Kopfüber' (Upside Down) and therefore even hung his camera lens vertically down the Rhine bridges, in order to scan the passing ships meter by meter, photo by photo, piece by piece. The individual images later provided the material for his digitally assembled 'cosms of ships'. The present print reveals the ship #7 and offers the view of a ship's deck that appears as an individual system of cables, pipes and planks. The Lambda color print is in mint condition. It is number 68 from a limited edition of 100 copies and has been laminated on Alu-Dibond. The image size is equal to the sheet size of 20 x 82.5 cm. The LUMAS edition certificate is inscribed with typographic indications and has been attached to the verso; it is signed by the artist 'D. Brömmel'.
