Tapestry artist Eva Brodská works with freestyle designs that only have a basic outline, creating the final form alla prima, spontaneously during the weaving process. Wool dominates her materials, sometimes in combination with sisal. Light, non-contrasting pastel tones based on the natural color of the material prevail. Most of her work remains in the artist’s repository after completion.
