Dolores Brink Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Dolores Brink is a graduate of the duCret School of Art in Plainfield and studied at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey in Summit. She also studied with impressionist artist Joseph Dawley; portrait artist Dr. Furman Finck; and pastels with Daniel Greene and others. Dolores is a member of the Pastel Society of America; The Pastel Society of New Jersey; the Contemporary Art Group, NJ; the Westfield Art Association; the Somerset Art Association; the Millburn/Short Hills Art Center; and she is on the faculty of the duCret School of Art.

“I enjoy capturing and becoming part of the moment, then painting my interpretation of what I see at that time,” Ms. Brink said of her work. “There are so many luscious and magnificent colors in our everyday experiences that sometimes go unnoticed in our hurried lives.”

Ms. Brink has exhibited her work in juried and group shows and galleries throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Kansas. In 2009 she exhibited in the Swain Gallery Small Works Show in Plainfield; the C.L. Wolf Art Club 113th Juried Show, National Arts Club, NYC; the C.L. Wolf Art Club Members Show, Broome St. Gallery, NYC; and the Millburn/Short Hills Art Center Members Show. She has earned many awards including First Place in the Union County Senior Art Show for pastel in 2004, 2005 and 2009; Award of Merit, Salon 2004: Westfield Juried Art Show; and People’s Choice Award in the 2003 Westfield Juried Show.

Dolores Brink is represented by the Swain Gallery in Plainfield. She also has work on exhibit through May 1 at the Artist Framer Gallery in Cranford.
