Differential taxation is not possible. This photograph was taken around the 1940/50s by the American photographer Helen Brethauer, a close friend of Ansel Adams. The vintage gelatin silver print on barite paper depicts in intense black and white contrast the gable of a church, crowned by a cross on the roof. The photograph has been mounted to cardboard. The left margin has a faint creasing mark and the upper corners show some traces of a former framing. The cardboard is slightly foxed. The work has been inscribed on the cardboard with ‘Helen Brethauer’ in the lower right corner. The sheet size is 34.6 x 27.5 cm and the total dimensions are 37.3 x 30 cm.
