Pauline Bressan was born in Magog, Quebec. She spent her schooling years un St-Jean, Québec., from where afer her graduation.

The paintings of Pauline Bressan, pique the curiosity of patrons around the world, not only by their unique compositions and their original point of view, but also by a recognizable palette among all. His non-repetitive style is characterized by his singularity and his approach is based on the interpenetration of several styles, including abstraction and cubism. Not only does his compositions evolve constantly, but his palette of colors perfectly matches his technique. Born in Magog (Québec) in 1944, Pauline Bressan first studied art in 1964 under the direction of M.Larose. In the mid-seventies, she studied with Jean Desmarais and Jacques de Tonnancour. In 1984, she enrolled at the Université de Sherbrooke in the fine arts program. To develop her own method, she approached several subjects and compositions, and her painting went from still life to landscape, to arrive at the portrait. Travel, according to his own words, have greatly contributed to his artistic evolution. Since 1986, she has made a dozen trips to France to paint, make scouting and progress professionally. The French media are interested in her work and often talk about her or publish her works. The Chinese arts community and the media have welcomed him very much by inviting him to exhibit and lecture at Xian University several times, to explain his relationship with art. Since 1978, in addition to several honorable mentions, numerous international awards have crowned his work. This recognition has earned her exposure across Canada, the United States, France, China, Belgium and the Czech Republic. His status as an international painter goes hand in hand with a presence at the Musée du Québec and at the Sherbrooke Museum of Fine Arts. His paintings are also found in several prestigious private and public collections: Hydro Quebec, Air Canada and Dupont Canada.
