Jeanne Brennan - Born: New York, June 25, 1962 - In the last six years since my affiliation with Pilchuck Glass School, I have been become intrigued with glass and started incorporating it into my practice. While I have always used a variety of materials in my work, I am drawn to the tension between the fragility of glass and its strength to withstand the ravages of time. I find this division of characteristics reflected in our own tenuous pathways. I am inte rested in the underlying interconnections between all things and the bridges that unite them. My work explores the many links between the personal and natural worlds."
