They were created in 1988 on the occasion of the exhibition of the artist at the “Studio” in the Museum Ostwall in Dortmund. The designs show a b/w photograph of the exhibition space with the words "Leseraum ", a green blackboard paint composition, a "Geha Extracta" blue paper image and six collages of spoons on a silver leaf ground, each applied to thin sheet. The compositions are based on abstraction and concretion, Dada and conceptual art, and are typical of the lifestyle of the 1980s. This is the issue 3 of 15 copies in the original cardboard folder. The inside cover contains the signature of the artist, as well as title, date and numbering. The condition is good with remarkable signs of use. The photography and the blackboard paint covered sheets have two visible stains. On some pictures there are minor scratches or little stains on the surfaces. The b/w photograph has come off slightly at the edges. The cover sheet shows creases and a small area with loss of material. The protective foils and fabrics feature signs of wear. The folder is somewhat dirty. The dimensions of the works are 27.5 x 28 cm each. Monika Brandmeier (born 1959 in Kamen) Monika Brandmeier was born in 1959 in Kamen, North Rhine-Westphalia. She studied Visual Communication at the University of Dortmund and Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Braunschweig, as well as the Dusseldorf Art Academy as a master student of Erich Reusch. In 1995, she was Professor for Design and Plastic Design at the “Fachhochschule Niederrhein” in Krefeld; 2001 she has been professor of sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden.
