Hensel, pinxt. | H. Bourne, sculpt.". Lower middle inscribed in the printing plate: "MIRIAM.". Date: 19th century Description: The skilfully engraved portrait depicts a group of figures in historical garments. The prophetess Miriam appears in the centre with a tambourine, flanked by women playing music; one of them is playing the lyre.
