Born in Surigao City in 1940, she lives in Marikina. Fine Arts Major at University of Santo Tomas. She taught at the University of the East School of Music and Arts, and has worked with an advertising firm. Her first solo exhibit was in Surigao City. A former zarzuela costume designer, her first Manila solo at ABC Galleries, titled “The Way We Wear,” dwelt on the Filipina’s wardrobe over the past four centuries.
