        Bokelberg, Werner. John Player Special Calender 1980. 4 Original-Photographien. Silbergelatine. Vintages. Motivmaße: 41,5 x 28 cm. Blattmaße: 41,5 x 28 cm bis 50,5 x 30 cm. Die vier Motive reizvoller weiblicher Rückenansichten wurden von Werner Bokelberg (geb. 1937) für den "John Player Special Calender 1980" aufgenommen. Die britische Zigarettenmarke, unter Motorsportfans vor allem wegen ihrer langjährigen Unterstützung des "Lotus-Formel-1-Teams" bekannt, setzte Anfang der 1980er Jahre neue Maßstäbe in Verpackungsdesign und Werbung. Als stilvolle kleine Schwester des "Pirelli-Kalenders" photographierte u.a. auch Peter Lindbergh für den "John Players Special Calender" eine Reihe von "entzückenden Rücken". Bokelberg, der seit den 1960er Jahren als Stern-Photograph u.a. Uschi Obermaier, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol und Romy Schneider porträtierte, war auch als Werbephotograph sehr erfolgreich. - Eine Photographie bis an die Umrahmung beschnitten, partiell minimal knickspurig, im Randbereich teils schwach gebräunt.

She is standing shirtless in the foreground and puts on a white shirt. Behind her some roommates are seen. This later print from 2004 bears the photographer's signature and date in pencil ‘Werner Bokelberg. 1969 / 2004’ on verso, as well as a red copyright stamp. The photograph is in very condition with only minimal signs of age and wear. The dimensions of the photograph are 51 x 34.5 cm and the overall dimensions are 60.5 x 50.5 cm.
