Due to the paste-like application of paint, tiny color flaking can be seen occasionally. The dimensions of the canvas measure 99.6 x 115.32 cm. Anca Bodea (b. 1982) The artist was born in 1982 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where she studied at the University of Art and Design. In 2003 she received an Erasmus grant for the Institute of Fine Arts in Liege, Belgium. Bodea completed her studies at the department of painting in 2007 with magna cum laude. In 2011 she achieved an internship at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice. The young artist's works have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions, i.a. 2008 in Rome and Bucharest, 2012 in Berlin, and most recently 2015 in Cluj-Napoca. Furthermore, several private collections in Germany, Canada and the US own her paintings. Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance. Auctionata charges the resale rights tax pursuant to Section 26 of the German Copyright Act (UrhG) towards the buyer in case of the sale of an original work of art or photography prior to 70 years having lapsed since the death of their creator. Therefore, Auctionata charges when purchasing a good – if a protection as an original work of art or photography is given – starting from a hammer price of EUR 400 an additional amount, which is calculated according to Section 26 (2) German Copyright Act (UrhG) and which does not exceed the amount of EUR 12,500.
