Bock gez. u. gest. 1798", Radierung, zusammen unter Passepartout mit der dazugehörigen Druckplatte hinter Glas in Biedermeierrahmen, Darstellungsmaße ca. 18,5 x 13 cm. Künstlerinfo: dt. Maler, Kupferstecher und Zeichner (1755 Nürnberg bis 1835 Nürnberg), Lehre als Kupferstecher bei Georg Martin Preissler und bei Johann Nussbiegel, weitergebildet bei Johann Friedrich Bause in Leipzig, Bekanntschaft mit Daniel Chosowiecki, Rückkehr nach Nürnberg, Berufung an die Militärakademie in Brüssel zusammen mit seinem Bruder, wo er an der Landkarte der österreichischen Niederlande arbeitete, 1779 überreichte er sein Portrait von Leopold II. persönlich dem Kaiser, in Wien Weiterbildung bei Jacob Matthias Schmutzer, ab 1780 wieder in Nürnberg ansässig, hier fertigte er zahlreiche Radierungen verschiedener Genre an, Quelle: Thieme-Becker, Nagler und Wikipedia.
