Sonja Blomdahl Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Sonja Blomdahl holds a MFA degree from the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston. Subsequently she studied at the Orrefors factory in Sweden and taught at the Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington. From the Venetian glass master Checco Ongaro, Blomdahl learned the incalmo method of making the double-bubble richly colored glass vessel, for which her art is best known. Glass blown by Blomdahl is represented in the American Craft Museum, the Corning Museum of Glass and the Renwick Gallery of American Art among many other collections.
