    Jun. 16, 2021

SIKORSKIY I.I. (1889-1972) Post card, addressed to Georgy Aleksinsky; September 19, 1923

    Est: €1,500 - €1,700

SIKORSKIY I.I. (1889-1972) Post card, addressed to Georgy Aleksinsky; September 19, 1923 14,5х11,2 cm Igor Ivanovich Sikorsky (1889-1972) was a Russian and American aircraft designer, scientist, inventor, philosopher. He is the creator of the world’s first four-engine aircraft «Russian Vityaz», heavy four-engine bomber and passenger plane «Ilya Muromets», transatlantic hydroplane, serial single-rotor helicopter. After the revolution, he emigrated to the USA. И.
