    Est: £2,500 - £3,500

HELENE BERTAUX (FRENCH, 1825-1909): A BRONZE BUST OF A GIRL WITH DRAGON FLY signed 'Me. Leon Bertaux', on a rouge marble socle over a black marble base, 62cm high. Footnote: Helene Bertaux was a poineering advocate for female artists, working in Paris in the late 19th century, she was instrumental in establishing the first sculpture school for women.
