Silk screen printing was artist Elton Bennett's chosen medium. Born in 1910 and growing up in Hoquiam, Washington, he always wanted to be an artist. With no formal art training, Bennett was torn between continuing his artistic passion or returning to work in trade to support his growing family. However, after some years and with the encouragement of his wife, he was able to save up enough money to pursue his art career full time, and Elton Bennett's prints were fully born. 

Elton Bennett's prints are done in a realistic and expressionistic style, and he enjoyed creating works that everyone could see and appreciate.
