Albert Bechely-Crundall Sold at Auction Prices

b. 1906 - d. 1997

Albert J. Bechely-Crundall was born on October 31, 1906 in France to English parents. He lived in England before moving to Los Angeles, California in 1928. While in Los Angeles, he met Harriet Hasbrouck who encouraged him to study art at Otis Art Institute. Albert and Harriet were married in Fontana, California in 1931.

He worked at a small advertising company in downtown Los Angeles before landing a stable position at Douglas Aircraft Company in Venice, California. There, he worked his way up to head of commercial art and, then, was shortly transferred to McDonnell-Douglas in Long Beach.
