Phillips, holding a book by British portrait silhouette artist W. H. Beaumont, also known as Beaumont of Cheltenham. A fine example of his late career work, some of which are "considered amongst the best of the period" (MCKECHNIE: British Silhouette Artists and their Work, 1760-1860) Signed. Minor tanning to paper. Minor wear to frame.
