Titled Lichtbildstudien Von Max Baur Das Schoene Deutschland, the beautiful Germany feature his hand notated landscape, and architectural photos. Baur was one of the important photographers of the 20th century. In 1934, he was invited to participate in the prestigious Gesellschaft Deutscher Lichtbildner [association of German photographers]. Later, he moved to Potsdam, where he published his first monography in 1937. In the 1950's he opened his photography shop in Aschau. The numerous portfolios of German cities, landscapes and churches prove him to be the pioneer of the field of photography. They are in very good condition.
