    BAUM, Don (1922-2008). Untitled (House Construction). Not dated. House on found wood, with cut decorations featuring a palm-tree, cacti, and a man in a sombrero. Painted in pink, black, and green. Mounted onto a wooden cutting board. 10 h x 15 w x 7 ½” d. Some wear, occasional chipping to paint, signed in marker on the bottom and the side of the cutting board. Good condition. This one of Baum’s “assemblage art” houses; he was associated with the Chicago Imagists and curated their first shows at the Hyde Park Art Center.
