The sculpture shows two baboons sitting next to each other and looking in different directions. The glazing has a decorative fine craquelure. Animal figures like this were very popular in these times. Many other artists created such figures like the sculptor Franz Barwig. This particular figure was shown at the glass palace in 1922 as part of the art exhibition. It is listed in the exhibition catalogue. The figure has inside the artist's signet 'B' and several pencil inscriptions 'Bauer Clotilde MÜNCHNER GLASPALAST Sept. 1922'. Its height is 32 cm.
