Colored pencil on black paper Germany, 1981 Gerd Bannuscher (b. 1957) - German artist Signed and dated 'G. Bannr 1981' lower right Hyper-realistic drawing with a portrait of an aged woman High artistic quality! Black wooden frame Overall dimensions, framed: 65 x 52.5 cm Very good condition Works by Gerd Bannuscher have sold for more than 2,000 euros in the international auction market The present portrait of an aged woman is the work of Gerd Bannuscher and dates from 1981. The drawing is executed with white and black crayon on black paper and convinces not only by the high artistic quality, but also by the expressive and touching image quality. Through the black and white color and the hyper-realistic imagery, the portrait looks somewhat distorted and is enhanced with a dramatic tension. The fine lines capture the furrowed face of the woman with a stunning lack of distance. The work is signed and dated 'G. Bannr 1981' lower right. It is in very good condition with only the lightest traces of use. The black wood frame shows a few minor chips. The overall dimensions, including the frame, are 65 x 52.5 cm. The sheet dimensions are 56.5 x 43.3 cm. (cko) Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
