        Original John Balloue "Seven Sisters" Lithograph

        Included in this lot we have a framed original John Balloue lithograph titled "Seven Sisters" originating from 1994. John Balloue is a Native American artists who was born in 1948 in Richmond, California and is a tribal member of the Western band of Cherokee in Oklahoma. He paints Native American scenes as a way to honor his heritage. The litho shows seven Native American dancers all standing in a rough line. The sisters are shown dancing with colorful tasseled garments. The piece shows wonderful detail and style. The piece is signed in the right hand corner reading "John Balloue 1/16/94" and is pencil marked "39/50 A/P John Balloue" across the center. The piece is set into a gilt frame with a off white border around the art. The back of the frame shows a Certificate of Authenticity indicating the piece is a limited edition lithograph with a short bio on the artist across the back. The piece shows good condition overall with light wear across the back of the frame. The frame measures 36" wide by 16" tall with the art measuring 28 1/2" wide by 8 1/2" tall.
