Esmael Bahrani, a pioneer of Iranian street art residency in Limousin

In his native country, his graffiti full of freedom have long disturbed the religious power. Tired threats, Esmael Bahrani, a pioneer of street art in Iran, decided to leave Tehran and moved to Paris in 2015. After an exhibition at the Arab World Institute last year, it is residence until the end of April to the old castle of Vicq-sur-Breuilh in the Limousin.

In 2005 he presented for the first time some paintings in a group exhibition at the Art Gallery of Azad Tehran . His career was launched. In 2012, his solo exhibition at the gallery in Tehran dastans Basement is sold out.

His first trip to France from 2007. Invited by Hervé di Rosa , it invests the MIAM (international museum of modest Arts) as part of a group exhibition on graffiti. He met urban artists ( Jonone , Nunca , Psyckoze , Alëxone ) and is an artistic family [ref. required] . During that first trip, he made a diptych for Gallizia collection . He is the only artist from the Middle East to exhibit in connection with the TAG exhibition at the Grand Palais in 2009. Invited by the Arab World Institute in Spring 2015 , he seized his chance, tired of repression and threats that Iranian artists are the subject .

He decided to leave Iran to join France [when?] . In Paris, where he developed his art collide East and West , myths Aboriginal and rebellion punk , outsider art and urban art . Since October 2015, Esmael Bahrani began a collaboration with the gallery Berthéas the Sunflowers .
