        Aug. 23, 2018

Ken Fuller Chalkboard Painting (Signed front and back)

        Est: $100 - $500

Very cool art on canvas.  School Chalkboard. Measures approx. 14.5"x11.5" Appears to be an original piece, dated and copyright in 1994 and signed on the back "by Ken Fuller" About Ken Fuller: "My style of painting makes viewers see something that isn't. I paint in the trompe l'oeil style that means 'fool the eye'. My subjects are rustic; letter racks, old door knobs and hinges. I treat my subjects as fun as well as nostalgic. That tends to be pleasing to the viewer. Born and raised in New England, I was influenced by the many well known artists that summered in my home town of Mystic, Ct. I attended the University of New Mexico Fine Art course for one year, then transferred to Paier Art School in Hamden, Ct. At Paier, I came under the influence of Ken Davies who provided me with the knowledge to achieve the trompe l'oeil style of painting. My works are included in many private and corporate collections; have been on exhibit in numerous museums and galleries in the country as well as several foreign countries. With more than 40 years experience in painting and teaching fine art, I continue to work in the style that first excited me in Art School."
