A testimonianza di ciò, vi è una cartolina di ringraziamento autografa. In quell’occasione, l’artista franca corcos realizzò un ritratto della stessa alice maye che controfirmò.

    Eleven xylographs stuck to paper Signed and numbered 10/50. Titled on the passe-partouts. Made circa 1925, they were part of the suite of twelve prints, of which an issue of 50 copies was made. 33x25 cm In 1920, Alix Aymé accompanied her husband Paul de Fautereau-Vassel, professor of letters, to Shanghai and then to Hanoi. The continuous transfers awakened in her a true passion for Asian culture. During the twenty years she lived on the Asian continent, Aymé took advantage of her free time to travel around different countries. In parallel, he taught art at the Lycée Français in Hanoi between 1925 and 1926. After marrying Lieutenant Colonel Georges Aymé in a second marriage, he joined the faculty of the Indochina School of Fine Arts in 1934, together with Joseph Inguimberty. Combining her Nabis heritage with her passion for lacquer, Aymé created works of great delicacy, focused on human subjects, especially women and children with a religious air similar to that of the Madonnas, influenced by her training in the Sacred Art workshops of Maurice Denis. In addition to his mastery of lacquer, he dedicated himself to painting on silk and drawing, developing a unique style characterized by its delicacy and a refined color palette. This distinctive style made Alix Aymé a pioneering artist at the Indochina School of Fine Arts.

Ink and color on silk, signed lower right PROVENANCE Collection particulière, Sud-Est de la France (acquis auprès de l'artiste puis transmis par descendance) Bon état général. Nous notons six pliures horizontales réparties sur l'ensemble de la soie. Deux petites rousseurs/tâches sont visibles (sur le voile rouge et sous l'une des mains). De très légères usures de la soie se trouvent également sur l'arrière-plan et un pli est visible sur le côté droit. Il est inscrit au verso : « 8000 / Pêche / moi 6 / 46 x 54 / 24 - grande maternité / 45.55 » Good overall condition. There are six horizontal folds throughout the silk. Two small freckles/stains are visible (on the red veil and under one of the hands). Very slight wear to the silk can also be seen on the background, and a fold is visible on the right side. Inscribed on the back: « 8000 / Pêche / moi 6 / 46 x 54 / 24 - grande maternité / 45.55 »

Il est à noter qu'il s'agit de l'une des deux parties de l'œuvre d'origine. Le laque présente un trou d'accrochage dans la partie supérieure ainsi que deux enfoncements. The lacquer has a hanging hole in the upper part and two dents. Two vertical cracks are visible on the right-hand side, as are a few fine cracks. There are also a few jumps in the lacquer (the Virgin's clothing). Damage to edges and corners, particularly on the left-hand side where the work has been cut.
