      Female nude. 1950s. Vintage gelatin silver print. 21 x 33 cm (30 x 40 cm). Mounted to original board, photographer's stamp below image in right corner on the mount. - - Jean-Marie Auradon became well known for his large-scale nudes, which he often posed like classical sculptures. He exhibited his work in 1930 and 1936 at the Salon International D'Art Photographique de Paris. He also belonged to the French 'Group XV' which included such well-known photographers as Robert Doisneau and Willy Ronis.
