1973 Received a short term grant from the Canada Council to accumulate pieces for
a one-man-show.
1988 Attended the gala opening of the new National Galley of Canada in Ottawa.
1989 June: Attended the opening of the `Masters of the Arctic' exhibition
in New York.

1990 Travelled to Vancouver for his solo exhibition, visited Victoria and was
featured on CTV National News.
