      Figurengruppe in Marmor VENUS UND AMOR Höhe: 81 cm. Beigegeben ist eine Expertise und Dokumentation von Alessandro del Piori, Universität Florenz. Dieser hat die Figurengruppe in den Umkreis von Bartolomeo Ammanati (1511 - 1592) gestellt und in die Zeit zwischen 1570 und 1575 datiert. Weißer Marmor, nur leicht geädert, unpoliert. Venus links stehend hält die linke Hand an ihre entblöste Brust, die Rechte hält das Ärmchen des rechts daneben stehenden Amorputto, mit umgegürtetem Pfeilköcher. Beide Figuren im Kontrapost auf mitgearbeiteter ovaler Plinthe. Provenienz: Privatsammlung. Entsprechende Literatur in der beigegebenen Dokumentation. (1061982) (11) Figural group in marble VENUS AND CUPID Height: 81 cm. Accompanied by an expert’s report and documentation by Alessandro del Piori, Florence University. He suggests an attribution to the circle of Bartolomeo Ammanati and dates the figural group to between 1570 and 1575. White, slightly veined marble; figural group carved in one piece together with the plinth. Provenance: Private collection. A report with corresponding references is enclosed.
