      Von Allen (New York/California, B. 1961) unframed oil on paper abstract in predominantly dark and bright yellow hues, executed in 2016 and signed to lower left "Von Allen". Measures 24" in height with width of 18". In overall good condition, all measurements are approximate. Title note: the term "Pazuzu" was, in ancient Mesopotamian religion, the king of the demons of the wind, brother of Humbaba and son of the god Hanbi. He also represented the southwestern wind, the bearer of storms and drought. Von Allen is an American artist, born in Jacksonville, North Carolina in 1961 who studied art at the 'Village Center for the Arts' in Palm Springs, California.
