John Allemann Art for Sale and Sold Prices

John Allemann was born in Moutier in the Bernese Jura. In 1960 he entered the Fine Arts. After graduation, he attended the advertising channel in various Swiss and Italian branches, putting his talent to major brands like Fiat, Motta, Nestle, etc.
A sabbatical leads him to the Middle East where he gave free rein to a symbolic imaginary, creating a series of drawings and wash full expressiveness.
After the Middle East, it is Italy that attracts him and he settled for 3 years. Based in Milan where he worked in an advertising agency, he traveled extensively and discovered the culture of this beautiful country. Allemann draws many.
Back in Switzerland, while continuing to work for advertising, he continues painting and explores constructivism. He was then detained by the phenomenon of forest death in the 80s and creates a series of watercolors he exhibited in 1984 in the picture rails of Visinand gallery in Montreux. In 1985 he exhibited at the Galerie de la Tournelle in Orbe. Various collective and personal exhibitions follow, Switzerland and Italy.

John lives in Allemann Corseaux Vevey and devoted himself entirely to painting on various topics including the portrait.

In 2006, during a trip to Berlin, he is fascinated by the architecture of this city and painted a series of oils entitled "Reflections Berlin" living paintings exhibited at Art Forum in Montreux in March 2007. On this occasion it Hotela receives the prize, consisting of the creation of a triptych of 1.20 x 3.60 m, tells the story of 100 years of head office in Montreux. It is exposed as early as December 2008 on a receiving company wall. He develops his "Urban Reflections", inspired by cities such as Barcelona, ??Venice, Paris, Geneva, Montreux etc.
