Selma Alden Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Selma Alden works as a curator for Cape Cod Art Association. Although she attended the Museum School and Vesper George School of Art, Selma is mainly self-taught. She worked as an interior designer and fabric coordinator for many years, but her first love has always been painting. She specializes in the human condition. The relaxed atmosphere of Cape Cod beaches, cafes and vacation streets are fodder for her brush. Many of her paintings show her love of people and her sometimes funny and satirical observations of people at leisure.
