Blattmaße: zwischen 16,5 x 23 cm und 50 x 36 cm. Die Lichtdrucke und die Original-Photographie zeigen vornehmlich Porzellan, u.a. das Jagdservice zu Hermann Görings 50. Geburtstag und Porzellanfiguren, die Digitaldrucke zeigen das Jagdservice und einen gedruckten Text zum Geburtstag Görings am 12. Januar 1943. - Die Photographie vollständig auf Unterlage montiert, etwas berieben und selten knickspurg, die Bögen berieben und etwas gebräunt, teilweise knickspurig, in den Rändern partiell mit Papierstauchungen, selten mit Einrissen oder Fehlstellen.

Circa 1930. An exhibit titled "Laure Albin-Guillot: Fresson Prints" was held at Zabriskie Gallery, New York, September 14-October 15, 1994. Laure Albin-Guillot's work is not easily categorized. She produced well-known portraits of celebrities of her day, as well as modernist nudes, microphotography of fauna, still lifes, landscapes, and portfolios of work in tandem with noted French writers. Her visual approach is best characterized as semi-pictorialist, with soft, luxurious values and a quiet gaze, her technical skill rendering the imagery in both beautiful and precise terms. She published and exhibited widely, and had the first one-person exhibition at the Salon d'Automne in Paris in 1925, which garnered her increasing attention and helped establish her reputation. Her fashion work appeared in Vogue (the first in 1922), and other imagery was published in both Vu and Arts & Metiers Graphiques magazines. She was a trail blazer; in 1922 she won a gold medal in a contest sponsored by the Revue Française de Photographie and the first to hold a solo exhibition of 40 prints at the Salon d'Automne in Paris in 1925. A regular contributor to avant-garde magazines Vu and Arts et Métiers Graphiques. Albin-Guillot was also elected president of the French Société des Artistes Photographes and her work was included in the first independent Salon of Photography held at the Théâtre de Champs-Elysées in June 1928.Alongside illustrious contemporaries such as Germaine Krull, Lisette Model, Dora Maar and Madame d'Ora, Laure Albin-Guillot is known for her very personal approach to erotic subject matter and for her technical mastery of the medium. The following lot Nu Debout, lot 53, for example, was produced on Fresson charcoal paper, a highly sophisticated process, producing a "pixelated" finish, that highlighted the texture of the model's skin. On her retirement from photography in 1954, Albin-Guillot claimed her greatest contribution to photography was her book illustrations, such as nudes for Henry de Motherlant's 1922 La Déesse Cypris and her erotic studies for poet Paul Valéry's Le Narcisse the following year. This print, Nu Reposé, lot 52, was made for Peter Lewys' notorious 1894 book Douze Chansons de Bilitis, published posthumously in 1937. Laure Albin-Guillot often used the fresson technique for her many floral and nature images. Their rich velvety surface and grainy texture give them a fine pictorialist quality. – Corners slightly bumped, traces of previous mounting on the verso, otherwise in very good condition.
