Aisa became involved with the Povungnituk Sculptors Society and the
Cooperative at their inceptions in the nineteen-fifties. He experimented in
graphics during the formative years of the art form at Puvirnituq but
sculpture has been his main artistic focus.

Aisa is the father of Annie Kope, brother of Paulosie Sivuak, Alicie
Alasua, Nellie Ten (Tungak) and Annie Amamatuak.
