Written in the Years 1792 and 1793, by John Aikin, M.D. (1747-1822) | Published: Philadelphia: Printed by James Carey, No. 83, North Second-Street. 1796 | Fully bound in calf leather with gold gilt lettering and decoration to spine | Measures approx. 7" H x 4.25" W x 1" D | A series of letters on topics such as poetic criticism, religion, natural history and Classical history written by John Aikin to his son. "In these Letters from A Father to His Son, he expounds his ideas on poetry as well as on such various topics as natural history, depression, and choosing a wife."
