Gallery Director’s comments: At only 19 years of age, Sharon Adamson has burst onto the Indigenous art scene, creating works far beyond her years, in a style reminiscent of her great-grandfather Tiger Palpatja.

Hailing from the remote art centre of Tjala Arts in the APY Lands the vitality of her artworks is astounding. Sharon’s work was showcased in the Exhibition “Rising Stars” at Outstation Art in Darwin and in a joint exhibition with fellow Tjala Artist Barbara Moore at RAFT Artspace in Alice Springs. Sharon may still be young however she is already a star with very few works readily available on the open market due to her popularity.
