The subject appears somewhat mysteriously. A female dancer has settled in casual pose in her chair, only lightly dressed. Her head is turned in the direction of the background and appears in the lost profile, which makes the true identity of the dancer still unclear. The painting is signed in Cyrillic lower left and is overall in good condition. Dated on the canvas in Cyrillic ’27 August 1964’ on verso. The canvas is slightly wavy. Scattered retouching visible under UV, otherwise of good impression. The image measures 88 x 62 cm, the framed dimensions are 100 x 74 cm.
