The painting with abstract colorful figures was mostly likely executed in Sarasota where the artist had moved to in 1973. Framed with off white linen mat and gold leaf frame. Sight Size: 28 x 22 in. Overall Framed Size: 36.5 x 30.5 in. Framed behind glass.

      Arthur Rosskam Abrams (1909 - 1981) American (NY & Florida), Watercolor. Signed lower right. Titled "Homage to Artstory" He began studies at the Graphic Sketch Club of Philadelphia, later teaching and exhibiting there. In September of 1931 his first New York one-man show was held at the Fifteen Gallery on West 57th Street. In 1950 he was elected as president of the Elmira Art Club. Overall Size: 29 x 37 in.       DESCRIPTION: Arthur Rosskam Abrams (American, 1909-1981). Pair of watercolors on off-white wove paper. 1) Depicts two birch trees in the foreground with a pond beside it. Signed, lower left. 12-5/8" x 19-5/8". Overall with frame 16-3/4" x 23-1/2". 2) Depicts a forest of trees with a lake. Signed, lower right. 20-1/2" x 13-1/2". Overall with frame 24-1/2" x 17-3/4". With discoloration/staining in the upper left corner. Each in a gold leaf frame and glazed. MEASUREMENTS: See Description. CONDITION: Each with some minor discoloration.
