A BLUE AND WHITE VASE AND A TEA BOWL AND SAUCER

Kangxi

Comprising a small vase with an ovoid body with six lightly molded lotus-petal panels, each painted in reserve with two stylized lotus flowerheads on upright scrolling stems, all above a spreading foot with narrow lappets and below a trumpet neck with a single molded bowstring and upright leaf lappets, a chevron band to the interior neck; and a hexagonal tea bowl and saucer, each sharing the same unusual penciled border and curling scroll hooks, the tea bowl with the addition of two bird panels to the sides. saucer: 4 1/4in (10.8cm) wide

Vase: Generally, in excellent overall condition save for a few minute air-bubble pinpricks to the rim and foot but mostly unobtrusive.


Cup Generally, in good overall condition save for a small original kiln glaze-pull and minor pinprick bubbles above the foot.


Saucer: A few minute air-bubble pinpricks to the rim edge and small surface bubbles to the interior center.
